What better to do on a Friday afternoon then go out with some friends to get some good pizza? This Friday was a bit different though, as we had guest pizza critique Kim along to join us on the Pizza Patrol.
We went to Jim’s Pizza House, a small local restaurant and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Other than the cheap price, the pizza didnt have much to talk about. It brought to mind a store bought frozen pizza that you cook at home. It just had that taste about it. The sauce wasn’t very good at all, and the crust was very store-boughtish. The cheese was good, and there was lots of it. Nice and stringy. A bit dissappointing as the restaurant smelled delicious as we walked in.
Some pizza I could eat all day every day. Jim’s Pizza is not one of those places. It’s mediocre and not highly recommended. 2 out of 5 slices for a store bought tasting pizza.
