So it’s been longer between patrols than I’ve intended, but nonetheless we made it to Pizza Town, the next joint on our list.
Pizza Town is kind of a mid-size joint. They have 6 locations in Metro. Not a big corporation, not a small joint. Mid-sized. And that’s exactly how the pizza was.
When we got there, there weren’t enough slices for everyone so we ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza, straight from the oven. Despite the fact that it was scalding hot when we started to dig in, it was kind of bland. Nothing jumped out to say good or bad. The pepperoni was a bit of a disappointment; it was a type that reminded me of salomi. Definitely not a good thing.
Other than that I don’t have a whole lot to say. Nothing stood out. The crust? Normal. Cheese? Yes, please - but it was just the same ol’, same ol’.
2.5/5 for a pizza that didn’t stand out either way. Hit or miss pizza.

Okay, so as a cofounder of the Halifax Pizza Patrol, I’ve noticed that, while i agree with the pizza rating, service quality was left out. I figured we might as well buy a 2L bottle of pepsi to share versus buying seperate bottles. So all was good and just before taking it out of the fridge i asked the cashier if we could get some cups. He told me they had cups, but they were small…. Thats fine, I thought… so i pass over my money and waited for some cups, only to be handed little sauce cups instead. Pretty sure his method of lying to me , simply to make a few bucks on pop combined with the fact the pizza was only mediocre definately means i wont be rushing back.
